Jason Adolph, MS, ATC/L, is the Director of Employer Services at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI), where he partners with employers to improve workers' compensation outcomes, reduce injury-related costs, and help employees return to work safely and efficiently. Jason brings more than 20 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, occupational healthcare, and workers' compensation management. Prior to his current role, he served as Workers' Compensation Manager for IBJI Rehabilitation Services and spent more than 16 years managing outpatient physical therapy facilities. Drawing on his extensive experience collaborating with employers, adjusters, nurse case managers, and healthcare providers, Jason specializes in building coordinated care pathways that deliver timely treatment, improve communication, and support better outcomes for both employees and employers.
Gary Shapiro, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Illinois Bone & Joint Institute (IBJI) specializing in the treatment of spine conditions in both adults and children. A strong advocate for conservative care whenever appropriate, Dr. Shapiro combines evidence-based treatment with minimally invasive surgical techniques when needed, helping patients recover efficiently and safely return to work and daily activities. He has served as the official spine surgeon for the Chicago Bears, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and is recognized for his commitment to patient-centered care and orthopedic excellence.
