Celebrate “Your Book of Days” with ArLynn Lieber Presser At The Book Stall

On Saturday, June 28^th at 2:30 PM, The Book Stall (811 Elm Street in Winnetka) is delighted to host long-time friend Arlynn Leiber Presser as she debuts her new non-fiction title, Your Book of Days: A Compendium of History, Anecdote, Sciences, and Curiosities. 
Arlynn's new book, designed by her friend Lynn Schmelzer and illustrated by M.A. Del Rosario, is an encyclopedic collection of brief essays, one for every day of the year. Each day's entry also includes space for the reader's own observations or reactions to both the day and the essay!

Arlynn and her collaborators took inspiration from Robert Chambers, a multi-talented thinker, writer, and scientist, whose two-volume Book of Days was made up of over 2,000 essays across 1600 pages. Longtime Winnetka resident ArLynn Leiber Presser has written dozens of romance novels, a few regional histories (including Winnetka and Northfield) and several other books, plays and travelogues.  This new book is about YOU!  Every day in the year is important (Your birthday for instance) and Arlynn guides you through the year with inspirational oddities of history, holidays, and humor.
