Dr. David Beigler, a specialist at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, will help us understand who is at risk and what can be done to manage bone concerns such as osteoporosis. He will identify risk factors, pinpoint appropriate screening measures and tests, teach us how to strengthen bones and decrease risks of fractures. Preventing fractures, especially to critical joints like the hip, can have a long-term impact on quality of life.
