Attend the Go Green Illinois meeting and learn about Effective Environmental Legislation, including developing an understanding of the power of community voices to implement legislation and how individuals and groups can impact legislation and environmental policies at the state level. The speakers will give a general overview about how legislation is worked in the general assembly, how we can influence policy issues at the state level, current priorities for state legislation, and there will be time to discuss ideas for future legislation.
