Go Green Illinois regular meeting - all invited

Tues. May 8, 1 - 3pm: Join Go Green Illinois for its regular meeting at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. The subject is Local Environmental Action and will include a period of community sharing and working groups that focus on environmental challenges and community solutions. Participants will choose three of the following topics during the working group portion: 1) Reducing Single Use Plastics: Straw and Plastic Bag Reduction Campaigns; 2) Food Waste Reduction and Food Compost Programs; 3) Community-wide Collaboration: Working with Government and Businesses; 4) Cleaner Transportation; and 5) Building a Robust Community Group.
