India Hicks: Island Life and Beyond       
Born in London, England from both British and design royalty, India now lives on a small island in the Bahamas, with her partner and their five children.  From there she runs her lifestyle brand, which is sold through a network of modern, strong, entrepreneurial women, and shares her world through her design books and social media.  Her third book, "India Hicks: Island Life," is inspired by her British heritage and Bahamian home.  India will give event attendees a look into the book’s subtle palette of island life: the family tradition of tablescaping; the warm anarchy of a family kitchen; the lazy pleasure of porches; the drama of entertaining; the “more is more” style of living with collections; the importance of shoe-string decorating and creative repurposing; and leaving room for spaces of sanctuary.  A light luncheon and wine will be served.  India will sign "India Hicks: Island Life" after her presentation, and books will be available for purchase.  As you shop before and after the presentation, look out for “India’s Faves” which are items India personally selected as key pieces you should buy at the Show.
