The Book Stall (811 Elm Street in Winnetka) invites you to the store for an evening with Joanne Lee Molinaro featuring her new cookbook, The Korean Vegan: Homemade: Recipes and Stories from My Kitchen. The author of the New York Times bestselling and James Beard Award Winning Korean Vegan Cookbook, returns with fresh new dishes with Korean twists. Known for her compelling storytelling and viral plant-based TikToks, Joanne invites readers into her home kitchen with recipes that reflect her personal experiences, family traditions, and her passion for “veganizing” Korean cuisine and “Koreanizing” everything else.

Ms. Molinaro will be in-conversation with Nemanja Golubovic, founder and CEO of the vegan restaurant, Kale My Name. Small bites will be provided by community restaurant, Spirit Elephant, serving award-winning and wildly delicious food made exclusively from plants.
