Peter Slevin has traveled the country and the globe, working as a national correspondent for The Washington Post 11 years before joining Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism as an associate professor. He covered Washington politics for the Post, and was diplomatic correspondent on the war in Iraq as well as reporting on national campaigns and policy debates across the United States. Slevin was European Bureau Chief for the Miami Herald for seven years, and is a graduate of Princeton and Oxford Universities. In 2015 Professor Slevin wrote a well received biography, Michelle Obama, A Life. Registration required for this free lecture.
