Yards That Work

Join Go Green Winnetka for its inaugural Yards That Work tour of six yards in Winnetka that incorporate sustainability in different ways - rain gardens, shade gardens, stormwater detention, bioswales, permeable pavers, vegetable gardens and fruit trees, composting, no pesticides, etc. Maps and addresses will be shared with participants three days before the tour. A guided bike tour will depart from the parking lot at Carleton Washburne School, 515 Hibbard Rd., Winnetka, at 10am. You are also welcome to bike on your own. If you need to drive, please carpool.
