About Us

New Trier Township has proudly served the community since 1850, providing programs, services, and resources that help residents thrive. Serving approximately 60,000 residents, the Township offers General Assistance, Emergency Assistance, property tax assistance through the Assessor’s Office, passport services, free notary services, and temporary handicap parking placards.

We also bring valuable resources directly to residents through community outreach programs, including Mobile DMV events, Power of Attorney Clinics, recycling events, health and wellness programs, and educational workshops. The New Trier Township Food Pantry supports more than 275 local families and welcomes community involvement through volunteering, donations, and food drives.

Committed to serving neighbors and strengthening our community, New Trier Township is here to help residents connect with the resources they need. Learn more at www.newtriertownship.com.
