About Us

Trees That Feed Foundation (TTFF) plants fruit trees in developing countries to nourish communities, create jobs, and restore the environment. We work in Haiti, Jamaica, Uganda, and other countries across the Caribbean, Central America, and Africa. Our vision is sustainable food systems, thriving markets, job growth, and reforested landscapes.

Our core program donates fruit tree seedlings—primarily breadfruit—to smallholder farmers. We source from local nurseries to boost regional economies and planting success.

To maximize long-term impact, TTFF provides:
• School Feeding – Nutritious meals made with local fruit
• Training – Tree care and small business skills
• Post-Harvest Tools – Equipment to process and sell fruit products
• Education – Activity books teaching kids about fruit trees
• Research – Applied agroforestry studies

Breadfruit is our flagship tree—nutritious, versatile, and climate-resilient. It bears fruit in 3 years and produces for up to 100. Widely accepted and easy to prepare, it’s ideal for both fresh use and preservation. It can even be processed into gluten-free flour!

Working with local partners, TTFF delivers lasting results: feeding people, creating livelihoods, and protecting the planet.
